Why Pledge?

In its Fifth Assessment Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 1,300 independent scientific experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there’s a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet. By making your personal pledge, depending on where your life journey is, you will be leaving a legacy to those who follow us because you will have taken positive action to move towards living a sustainable life in harmony with Planet Earth. After all, we are part of mother nature.

As expressed  in the Tao Te Ching, we are reminded that ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step’. By taking your first step and making your PLEDGE, you are embarking on a truly exciting and life changing journey.

You will be making positive changes which honour and respect Planet Earth, whilst continuing to live an abundant life in harmony with the natural world. We will share and CONNECT YOU with the incredible stories of the great work being done all around the world by remarkable people, whether that be conservation, regenerative or  humanitarian work, or sustainable living trends. In this way, we will re-establish our connection with NATURE, and will be reminded of her abundance and beauty.

The responsibility 4PlanetEarth rests with all of us. Whilst we depend on the decisions of Governments around the world, as to how they tackle the stresses we have placed upon her, it is in EACH ONE OF US where the greatest power rests:  what we do, what we buy, how we collectively connect with our fellow creatures, both human and natural, is what really shapes our future.

There is no pledging of money to us, this is your personal pledge, depending on where you are on your journey, to living more in alignment with the planet.
